Data & Security
Last updated: January 2025
This page describes, at a high level, how LogiClean approaches data handling and security in the context of providing data cleaning services. It is not a formal security specification but is intended to be transparent about general practices.
1. Types of data we handle
We primarily handle:
- Invoice and billing data (amounts, dates, customer names, reference numbers).
- Dispatch and load data (origin, destination, load IDs, notes, lane information).
- Basic business contact information (customer and carrier names, contact details).
2. How your files are used
Files you send to LogiClean are used only for:
- Performing the data cleaning and related services you request.
- Verifying results and preparing outputs for your use.
3. Storage and access
We use reputable third-party providers for email and file handling. Access to your files is limited to the founder/operator of LogiClean and any trusted providers used strictly for operational purposes.
We aim to retain working files only as long as necessary to complete the requested work and handle any immediate follow-ups. Over time, files may be removed from active storage, although some traces may remain temporarily in backups maintained by service providers.
4. Transmission
Where possible, we encourage the use of secure methods for sharing files, such as links from reputable cloud storage providers that use HTTPS and access controls. If you have specific security requirements, you can raise them when contacting us.
5. AI and automation tools
LogiClean may use AI-assisted and automated tools to help standardize and clean data. When these tools are used, they are applied solely for the purpose of processing your data according to your instructions.
We do not sell or allow third parties to use your data for unrelated model training or marketing purposes. Where third-party AI services are used, they are selected with consideration for their published data handling policies, but we encourage you to review those third-party terms independently if you have concerns.
6. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for:
- Ensuring that you are authorized to share files and data with LogiClean.
- Not sending data that you are legally prohibited from sharing with third parties.
- Reviewing cleaned data before using it for billing, compliance, or other critical business processes.
